Textual Link Assets

To create a Textual Link Asset:

  1. Click on the “Manage Media” button.
  2. Change the Selected Type to Textual Links.
  3. Click on the “Add Item” button. The Textual Link window opens up.
  4. Insert the URL into the box labeled URL
  5. Insert the Name of the link in the box labeled Link Text.
  6. Click on the “Save” button in the bottom right hand corner of the Window.
  7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 until all the Textual links you wish to create at this time have been created.
  8. Once all the Textual Links Assets that you wish to create have been created click on the "Close" button in the bottom right hand corner of the Manage Media List window. This will return you to the beginning of ACME.

To make changes to a Textual Link Asset:

  1. Click on the “Manage Media” button.
  2. Change the Selected Type to Textual Links
  3. Select the Textual Link Asset you wish to make changes to.
  4. Click on the "Edit" button. The Textual Link Asset window will now open up displaying all the information for the link.
  5. To change the name displayed in the Tour for the Textual Link Asset:
    1. Select the "Link Text" box.
    2. Change the text in the "Link Text" box to what it should now say.
  6. To change the URL address of the Textual Link Asset:
    1. Select the "URL" box.
    2. Change the url of the link to the new url.
  7. Click on the "Save" button.

To assign a Textual Link Asset to a Media Udoo:

In order for a Textual Link Asset to appear inside a Media Udoo it must assigned to the Media Udoo in question. More than 1 Textual Link Asset can be assigned to the same Media Udoo.

  1. Create the desired Textual Link Asset if you have not already.
  2. Click on the "Manage Media" button.
  3. Change the Selected Type to Textual Link.
  4. Click on the desired Textual Link Asset from the list of Textual Link Assets.
  5. Click on the “Assignments” button. The Assignments window will now open up.
  6. Change the “Selected Type” to Media Udoo.
  7. Click on the name, or the box next to the name of the Media Udoo you wish to assign the Textual Link Assets to, so that a check marks appear in the box.
  8. Click on the “Save” button in the bottom right hand corner of the window.

The Textual Link Assets assigned to the Media Udoos can be ordered within the individual Media Udoos.

To order the Textual Links inside a Media Udoo:

  1. Click on the "Manage Udoos" button.
  2. Change the Selected Type to Media Udoo.
  3. Click on the Media Udoo whose Textual Link Udoos you wish to order.
  4. Click on the "Ordering" button. A new window will appear.
  5. Inside the new window change the Selected Type to Link Assets.
  6. Number the Textual Link Assets using the boxes next to the names of the Textual Link Assets in the desired order.
  7. Click on the "Save" button to return to the Media Udoo list.
  8. Repeat steps 3 - 7 until all the Media Udoos you want to order are ordered.
  9. Click on the "Close" button to return to the ACME main screen.

To assign a Textual Link to the Universal Tour Udoo:

Textual Links assigned to the Unified Tour Udoo are called Calls to Action. These are the Textual links that are available throughout the tour, instead of just appearing with certain Media Udoos.

  1. Create the desired Textual Link Asset if you have not already.
  2. Click on the "Manage Media" button.
  3. Change the Selected Type to Textual Link.
  4. Select the desired Textual Link Asset from the list of Textual Link Assets.
  5. Click on the “Assignments” button. The Assignments window will now open up.
  6. Change the “Selected Type” to Unified Tour Udoo.
  7. Click on the name, or the box next to the name "Providence Tour" so that a check marks appear in the box.
  8. Click on the “Save” button in the bottom right hand corner of the window.
