The Vietnam Veterans Memorial was completed in 1982 to honor veterans and those injured, lost and missing in action in the conflict. The memorial consists of three parts: the Three Soldiers statue, the Vietnam Women's Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall.
