At GW, public health students gain practical skills and knowledge through a practicum project, a real-world work experience at a Washington, DC, national or international health organization. Students have the option to present on their practicum experiences at the end of the semester, providing an additional opportunity for professional feedback from faculty, advisors and fellow students.
