Elliott School of International Affairs

Students in the Elliott School of International Affairs.

Thanks to its location in the heart of Washington, DC, and with classes taking place primarily in 1957 E Street, the Elliott School of International Affairs (ESIA) immerses students in the fresh exchange of ideas and information between policy shapers and academic experts. The faculty of world-renowned scholars and policymakers shape a community of students who become diplomats, activists, journalists, policymakers, business leaders and more.

Students benefit from more than 300 ESIA-sponsored events each year, which convene scholars, policymakers, the media and other international affairs experts to examine pressing global issues. Research by ESIA faculty and students address policy challenges, maximizing impact on international policy and the lives of those it touches.
